India ink on paper, 30X40 cm, 2019.

These works show enigmatic and protruding forms called brognes or broussins by botanists and which are a cluster of buds and gourmets juxtaposed on the bark of a tree. This tangle of baroque and ostentatious lines, with a singular path, does not seem originally determined and fixed but presents a happy mobility and plasticity which gives it freedom of transformation and adaptability. This internal disorder obeying a functional logic and a primitive drive  allowing the tree to survive, paradoxically offers our eye an infinite number of possibilities for formal interpretations.
